A full-service Volunteer Center is a community’s local knowledge leader on volunteering. It’s the place where people find the most up-to-date opportunities to serve. It is also, by definition, the place where nonprofit organizations go for all manner of volunteer management, i.e. how to more effectively recruit volunteers, how to create volunteer opportunities and how to make their volunteer programs work.

In addition, it’s the responsibility of a full-service volunteer center to keep an eye on the community’s most urgent needs and respond with volunteer action.

HandsOn Jacksonville is honored to fill the role of full-service Volunteer Center. Our goals are reflected in our mission to inspire, equip, and mobilize people to take action that changes our world.
